ENABLE LIVELIHOODS FOUNDATION is a pioneering social enterprise, which enable financiers to effectively serve unorganized microenterprise sector by offering last mile value-adds. ENABLE's pioneering model has been picked up as national best practice by National Rural Livelihoods Mission, Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India in the design of Rs 485 crore scheme, Startup village Entrepreneurship Program (SVEP). Clients include foremost NBFCs, microfinance institutions, government agencies and project implementation agencies (PIA). ENABLE's products form the core of operations of PIAs in different states across the country.

Title : Chief Operating Officer

Nature of work :

- Build and manage relationships with clients who are foremost players in unorganized sector in India

- Take full responsibility to effectively deliver products and services as per client requirements

- Lead a 15+ member team of Barefoot Consultants, who act as top-tier MBAs to micro-enterprises

- Oversee implementation of pioneering financial technology products in unorganized sector

- Get one's hands dirty while solving key problems of rural unorganized enterprises in India

Requisite attitude & Experience :

- (Preferably) Rural development experience, with overall 3 - 6 years of full-time work experience

- Passion to lead a pioneering social enterprise in country

- Willingness to travel to interior rural areas and get hands dirty

- Entrepreneurial approach to problem solving and scaling up the operations across different states in country

The candidate would be a humble, self-driven individual with passion towards working with youth in rural areas. Candidate would be a MBA from premier educational institute in India or abroad.

Location : Though work will entail travelling to different states, the candidate would be expected to work out of Bangalore

Start Date : Immediate

Remuneration : Market pat rate
