Emplay - Senior Business Analyst - Sales Intelligence & CRM Analytics

Emplay is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our Analytics/ Consulting team. As a Business Analyst you will generate insights out of the data and/or develop an in-house consulting process while working with project managers. You will work across different facets of the project and your deliverables could touch upon client's sales, marketing, customer service and other operation functions. Our bid is to provide - Actionable Intelligence As a Service- whilst ensuring our analysis assists them in solving complex business problems.

About Emplay :

We are an award winning 3 year old start-up with a vision to build and implement a comprehensive GPS like analytical performance recommendation engine. Our initial success with our visionary Fortune 500 clients has helped us prove our market potential and has put us on an expansion path.

We are headquartered in California and have recently set up an office in India. With the India team size of 10, we are looking to rapidly grow this team. Next year, our plan is to grow 5 times our current size based on business forecast.

This role will be a multi-faceted role comprising solution development, project management, client management and hands on execution.

Your responsibilities will include :

- Deliver projects around deriving Sales Intelligence and CRM analytics and providing recommendations towards sales planning and effectiveness.

- Responsibility spans across understanding project requirements & data sources, methodology development, creating and executing project plans, Output creation and presentation and quality checks.

- Handle Projects and clients independently end to end through the projects with a detailed eye for quality.

- Assist in Business Requirements creation and some experience handling clients

- Create and Manage reporting and Dashboards as required

- Conduct thorough checks on data and output for possible glitches from both and data and business context perspective.

Skills and attitude required :

- Educational background : MBA preferred but not mandatory

- Good excel and presentation making skills

- Strong verbal and written communication.

- Project Management Experience

- Strong Business acumen

- Research oriented

- Self managed, go-getter.

- Curiosity to learn Sales and Marketing Concepts

- Ready to work in a start-up environment
