Emplay is an award winning 3 year old start-up with a vision to build and implement GPS like turn by turn guidance system for sales. Its analytical sales recommendation engine is currently being used by more than 1000 users in Fortune 500 B2B companies.

We are headquartered in California with our data science and product development team in India.

Chief Data Scientist/ Chief Analytics Officer role is a multi-faceted role comprising advanced analytics solution development using machine learning, AI and text analytics technologies, product vision and strategy design and inspirational leadership.

It is a dynamic entrepreneurial role demanding time, energy and solid commitment to help shape Emplay's phase of innovation and growth.

Job Responsibilities :

Advanced analytics solution development for sales and marketing.

- You should have good understanding of sales and marketing domain and be able to develop decision support systems using machine learning algorithms.

- You should also have experience analytical product design to help us build bot solutions.

People management and change leadership :

- You should have managed a team of at least 10-15 statistical analysts and have experience in hiring, training and motivating your team.

You should exemplify work ethics and inspire all. You should be able to promote a culture of professionalism in the team you inherit and hire.

Technical skills Required :

- Hands on experience in designing and developing advanced analytics solutions.

- Expert level knowledge of machine learning algorithms, text analytics, NLP etc.

- Expertise in R or Python programming.

Business skills :

- Domain experience in sales/marketing

- Any other domain e.g. insurance, finance is also interesting given our client base.

Professional skills :

- Project management

- Team management

Education and Employment profile :

- Bachelors or masters degree in engineering, statistics or mathematics.

- MBA is preferred but optional for seasoned business professionals.

- Client management experience is greatly valued
