Emeritus- SME Data Scientist Responsible for assisting the course design group in creating new, high quality data science course, ensuring their quality and participant satisfaction. Quality check each element of the course. Work with the delivery team to lead and support participants through existing courses. Requirements: - Advanced degree in a quantitative field (Math, Statistics, Biostatistics, Econometrics, Etc.) - Expert skills in statistical analysis, data science, data visualization, R and Python - Ability to review content and create coding assignments for a wide range of R and Python skills training courses, from introductory to expert. - Ability to create high quality teaching content within tight deadlines - Understanding of and ability to employ adult online learning best practices - Comfortable in a fast-paced environment - Works will with multiple stakeholders in a global company Duties include: Support the course design team by: - Reviewing and critiquing course flow and elements - Selecting appropriate optional course materials - Creating course assignments that facilitate learning - Ensuring that all assignments are designed and graded properly - Occasionally managing the deployment of education technology to ensure quality implementation and support for participants - Potentially serving as in-house professor for a course by creating and be filmed delivering lectures Support the course delivery team by: - Becoming course leaders for select course; assisting participants with understanding course materials and completing assignments - Assisting other course leaders in serving course participants - Developing and creating webinars on various topics of interest in data science and course assignments - Providing recommendations for course enhancements and improvements
