Experience & Qualification

Experience of 3-5 years with Undergraduate (Marketing) Degree, MBA or PG (Mass Communication or Marketing)

Role Description

- The fundamental job of this position is to develop Email Marketing programs to support the growth of the company's marketing efforts, acquiring and retaining new customers by integrating all facets of effective e-mail marketing

- Devise strategy, create, manage and implement new e-mail marketing campaigns, including working with teams to design templates, copy, landing pages and offers designed to drive new customers.

- Manage end-to-end email campaign workflow – including coordinating with product marketing, web designers and facilitating reviews.

- Acquire and retain new customers by integrating all facets of effective e-mail marketing

- Organize A/B testing of new execution strategies and communicate findings and recommendations.

- Segmentation of data and targeting email campaigns based on user profile

- Periodic Data Maintenance

- Recognize other untapped opportunities to drive conversion with email by researching collecting, and analyzing data, leveraging internal and external resources/data sources

Competencies

- Know how to segment the customer database to create targeted messages.

- Use life cycle marketing tools to create a system of triggered messages based on customer preferences and actions

- Understand how all aspects of the marketing program, from opt-in and message content and design to delivery and list management, affect email deliver ability

- Know how to find and correct problems that hurt deliver-ability

- Understand and use email analytics

- Good skills in excel, quantitative analytical skills, and ability to develop original conclusions from a disparate data set are essential.

- Strong negotiation and communication skills are needed
