Job Roles and Responsibilities:

Designation: Vice President - Sales

Location: Chennai

Core Job Functions:

Formulation and Implementation of Sales Strategies:

- Formulates and executes a robust solicitation program aimed at driving business growth.

- Collaborates with the sales leader to ensure a comprehensive grasp of the sales strategy and its efficient execution within the segment.

- Aids in the creation and execution of internal and external promotions to enhance market presence and engagement.

Optimizing the expansion of revenue:

- Offers proactive and inspiring leadership to maximize revenue potential.

- Proposes targets for members of the sales team to boost revenue.

Analyzing Sales Data:

- Conduct analysis and offer constructive feedback to both sales team and management, emphasizing accomplishments, potential areas for enhancement, and actionable insights.

- Evaluate the effectiveness of sales team and individuals using critical metrics, including revenue generation, conversion rates, customer acquisition costs, and sales growth.

Market insights:

- Stay informed about industry trends and advancements by conducting continuous market research and competitor analysis. Identify growth opportunities and suggest relevant actions.

- Offer insights into market dynamics and customer preferences based on up-to-date information.

Engagement with diverse departments:

- Collaborate closely with R&D, manufacturing, and installation teams to facilitate smooth coordination between sales and project execution.

- Work in tandem with customer service and maintenance teams to improve the overall customer experience.

Budget Oversight:

- Formulate and oversee the sales budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation to attain sales objectives.

Required Qualifications:

- Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field from a premier institution.

- A proven track record of success in progressively responsible sales roles, preferably with a minimum of 10 plus years of experience in sales.

- Significant experience in a leadership or managerial capacity, such as Director of Sales or similar roles, demonstrating the ability to lead and develop a high-performing sales team.

- Strong sales acumen with a demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful sales strategies.
