Job description

Key Skills Needed { Must Have }

- Strong Knowledge of General Accounting (US GAAP / IFRS)

- Inter Co Accounting; Month End Closing; Preparation of Monthly Information Reports; Account Preparation of Financial Statements; Intercompany balance reconciliations; Statutory reporting, Handling audits independently; Managing F&A transitions for newly acquired entities;

- Ensure that all reporting issues are identified; escalated and tracked to conclusion; Maintain and control accuracy of information extracted from prime records into financial reports and ensure a fully audited reconciliation from management books to GAAP books; Adequate controls, documentation and audit trails are in place to comply with Reporting requirements; Proactively seek opportunities for process improvements through ongoing review of processes / methods of data collection and report preparation to create efficiencies and eliminate non-value added work

- Timely preparation and updating budget by taking input from respective departments and discussion with CEO/ BU leaders; monthly preparation and submission of quality variance analytics to CEO/BU leader and to discussion with corporate team for consolidation purposes

- Ensure compliance of Covenants and to update to BU leader if there could be a potential doubt of busting of covenant in near future by considering financial trends; able to work independently and effectively and drive things to closure, Worked for F&A domain for International clients (preferably US); Proficiency in MS-Office applications

Proactive approach in identifying, escalating, reporting and resolving statutory reporting issues ensuring analyst/s team focus on critical activities; Must demonstrate personal accountability in ensuring all tasks and activities are carried out on time and in accordance with legal and management requirements; Good listening, writing and presentation skills; Flexible to work, positive mindset.
