Assistant Manager - Internal Audit Qualification : Chartered Accountant Shift Timings : 1 pm to 10 pm Duties & Responsibilities : - Assist in development of annual audit plan and conduct audits as per the scheduled plan and ensure completion of same within the timeframe - Discussion of various processes with management and preparation of RCM. - Execute design review and operative effectiveness of internal controls in timely manner. - Execute Detail audit procedures, including reviewing transactions documents records and business procedures for ascertaining accuracy and effectiveness of record transactions - Perform root cause analysis (RCA) to identify gaps. - Actively engage with process owners for various activities (gathering data, resolving issues, performing RCA, discussing remediation plans etc.) - Handling meetings with management regarding various audit observations. - Preparation of draft report based on the audit observations. - Provided assistance in formation of new policy and amendment in the existing policy of the company. - Suggest the controls in consultation with management over various processes and ensure the implementation of suggested controls. - Follow up with the management for action taken on the audit observations. Skillset Needed : - Forensic with reputed organization/industry - Knowledge about financial audit and review of balance sheet - Strong technical and accounting skills. Working knowledge of IFRS, UK GAAP, US GAAP will be useful. - Good working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Access, MS Project and Accounting ERPs. - Have adequate interpersonal skills and team skills - Communication skills - good verbal and written skills - Self-starter, organized, methodical, and able to deal effectively with multiple priorities and do multitasking. - Strong planning and organizational skills and problem-solving ability. - Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
