Eli Global - Head - Debt Capital Raising (15-30 yrs)

Head of Debt Capital Raising: The Growth Capital group is currently looking for dedicated and self-motivated individual who can lead the Debt Capital raising team of the company. The successful candidate should have deep knowledge and relationship with debt capital market providers primarily in US

Primary responsibilities:

a. Responsible to source, win and execute on raising of debt capital to support the Group's financing needs.

b. Capital Allocation / Structure: manage the capital structure and capital allocation processes of the company; assess ideal leverage currency and fixed/floating rate mix and make recommendations as needed; identify opportunities to minimize interest costs; monitor cash generation and evaluate alternative uses of cash including reinvestment in the company and return of capital programs

c. Capital Markets Activities (Debt Raise, Repricing, Repayments, etc.): manage existing debt by ensuring that interest and principal payments are made on time; identify opportunities to reprice or repay debt; provide support in the execution of future credit facilities and capital market issuances

d. Revolver Management monitor cash receipts and requirements to determine amounts of borrowings and repayments under the revolver; manage the type and tenor of borrowings to minimize interest expense; roll borrowings as needed upon maturity.

e. Cash Forecasting: partner with FP&A and Group CFO to produce long term cash forecasts.

f. Covenant Compliance: manage the compliance process; review debt agreements to ensure requirements are understood and satisfied; maintain compliance with debt covenants including reporting

g. Relationships: provide support in establishing and maintaining relationships with major commercial banks/lenders, investment banks, rating agencies, and other external advisors; coordinate across regions, business segments, and tax, accounting, and legal departments on debt capital raising initiative

h. Prepare pitch books, capital structure analysis, debt profiles, credit memos, sales memos and road show presentations

i. Assistance in preparing answers and related analysis to questions (ranging from balance sheet to commercial activity) from lenders

j. Fluent in all capital market trends to ensure the organization can access a wide array of debt products if appropriate.

k. Responsible for project due diligence and CIMs and refinance packages for debt providers.

l. Responsible for the knowledge of the organizations financial and business activities and the communication of such to all current and future debt capital providers to ensure constant access to the debt capital markets

m. Provides current and forecasted capital market trends to support the management teams in analysing capital opportunities.

n. Closely working with accounting reporting and FP&A team to collate required information for debt capital market activities

o. Fosters and expands relationships with existing debt capital providers and procure new capital relationships.

p. Develop strong working relationships with relevant Senior Business Leaders and key internal stakeholder groups

Professional Qualification and experience:

- Bachelor's degree in business, finance or a relevant discipline (MBA/CFA is must).

- Fifteen (15) or more years of relevant experience

- Domestic and international finance experience with extensive knowledge of global debt capital market
