Job Overview : - Join an exciting early stage sports startup, and handle day-to-day finance & accounts related functions Role and Responsibilities : 1. General Bookkeeping & Accounting : Handle all daily accounting aspects of the business including but not limited to : - Receivables : Generating sales invoices, reconciliation for remittances - Payables : Budgeting, processing invoices and payments, reconciliation - Payroll : Computing TDS & other deductions and timely running of payroll 2. Financial Reporting & MIS : - Working with founders on monthly & annual budgeting - Preparation of Financial statements - Create financial MIS reports to facilitate superior decision making 3. Compliance : - Preparing all data required for TDS, GST and other statutory compliances - Coordinating audits and other compliance 4. Banking : - Cash flow planning and working with banks to ensure optimal capital usage - Understand and optimize working capital & liquidity for the business Required Professional Experience : - CA with upto 4 years of experience - Good MIS & Reporting Skills and attention to detail - Knowledge of accounting standards and various financial products - High level fluency with accounting software & MS Excel Important Personal Attributes : - Confidence, positive attitude, and patience - Eager to work at an early stage startup and likes Sports - Can work independently and has a getting things done attitude - Demonstrated leadership, passion, and a willingness to learn new skills
