Electrosteel Castings Limited - Senior Manager/AGM - Quality - Ductile Iron Pipe Plant (16-20 yrs)
Qualifications: B.E - Mechanical/Production
Experience: 16 - 20 years of experience.
Responsibilities:
- B. Tech (Mechanical/ Production) from AICTE recognized institute with 10 years of work experience in Ductile Iron Pipe manufacturing plant;
- Experience in Ductile Iron Pipe plant in the area of Quality Control/ Quality Assurance;
- Knowledge of Ductile Iron Pipe manufacturing process from melting to final inspection;
- Conversant with ISO 9001 and has the ability for development of inspection and work instructions,
inspection records;
- Ability to identify the root cause of technical issues and recommend corrective measures
- Conversant with national and international standards applicable to Ductile Iron Pipes
- Ability to manage internal & external process audits (e.g. ISO 9001, ISO 14001) and product audits (e.g. KITEMARK)
- Ability to manage plant assessment by domestic and overseas clients
- Knowledge of measuring and testing equipment used and their operation
- Knowledge of Engineering component and Gasket inspection
- Handling Third party /Customer inspection
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel & ppt
- Capacity to work independently, have good communication skill
- Monitor budget adherence & make recommendations for changes as needed
- Follow safety norms and improve safety practices.
