About the Company:

Elchemy is a tech-enabled chemicals distribution company solving supply chain challenges by taking a software-first approach. It was founded in the latter half of 2021 in the backdrop of global supply chain shocks induced due to the pandemic making the opportunity ripe for disruption. The team is comprised of alumni from IIT-B, IIT-D, IIM-A, & IIM-R, & have previously worked at companies like SRF, Laxmi Organics, Sojitz Japan, Prakash Chemicals International, Amazon Seattle, Samsung South Korea, and P&G. Within just 2 months of launch, the company secured $2M in pre-seed funding from marquee VCs and angel investors, including promoters of some of the publicly listed chemical companies.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Understand Elchemy's vision : create and execute strategies to reach there

- Wear multiple hats, including sales/marketing strategies, hiring and fundraising during 0-1 journey of Elchemy, upskill and prepare for 1-10 journey & onwards

- Accelerate journey to product market fit by aggressively running experiments, working on GTM strategy, identifying and tracking key success metrics

- Represent Elchemy in various events, meetings and take up external facing roles

- Identify and execute partnerships with customers, suppliers, vendors and banks

- Manage cross functional teams and stakeholders to achieve desired results

- Bring structure to chaos by implementing project management tools & increasing accountability

Skills and Qualifications:

- At least 1 year of experience in strategy or operations or 2+ years of experience at a tier 1 consulting firm

- Postgraduate degree in management or equivalent is preferred

- Should be excellent at story telling using presentation & analysis on excel

- Should have an entrepreneurial mindset, strong business acumen and network

- Should be able to commit passionately and take ownership

- Should be analytical, first principles thinker and a problem solver at heart

- Should love hard core execution - rolling up sleeves & getting hands dirty

- Other desired qualities - attention to detail, thinking on feet, passionate about start ups
