Sales Development Representative (SDR) will be a part of our core Sales and Marketing group.

SDR team members hunt new logos and work closely with Inside Sales team members to help them penetrate new accounts and create a stream of new opportunities throughout the year.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Work closely with the Demand Gen team and set up new opportunities:

Research and hunt new prospective companies

Qualifying leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities

Identify best points of contacts and conduct research to ensure a prospecting approach heavily built on personalization and consistency

Oversee the initial sales cycle, building strong relationships with interested prospects, understanding their requirements and positioning Eka's product portfolio

Set up meetings with prospects and resources internally including Solution Consultants and Account Directors

Manage business relationships to ensure that prospects' needs and requirements are met

Serve as an advocate for Sales while collaborating with the other teams

Work closely with Eka Inside Sales team, handing off qualified leads and supporting the downstream sales process

Manage and log activities in Salesforce.com for proper opportunity tracking

Develop consultative selling skills via a combination of training and on the job experience

Serve as a strong team player, mentoring junior team members

Experience:

3-4+ years of experience in sales, business development, inside/outside, b2b sales, focused on IT/Enterprise software

Deep interest on of the enterprise software sales cycle and working knowledge of the enterprise software market or the ability to learn new software quickly

Proven work experience as a Sales Development Representative, Sales Account Executive, or similar role in an enterprise SaaS company

Ability to understand technical concepts, possess enthusiasm for technology and to articulate clearly to all levels of technical aptitude

Hands-on experience with multiple sales prospecting techniques like cold calling, cold emailing and social outreach.

Experience working with a CRM and a fair understanding of sales performance metrics

Track record of consistently achieving sales quota

Skill Sets:

Inclination to do high volume sales development prospecting

Strong communication and interpersonal skills - equally comfortable on the phone and email

Ability to effectively manage time and workload, work independently and multitask

Must be an excellent problem-solver and willing to collaborate in an exceedingly competitive environment

Thorough understanding of commercial awareness and brand recognition to successfully establish rapport with prospects

Collaborate with sales teams by bringing innovative lead generation ideas to each weekly meeting

Education: Any Graduate / Postgraduate from a recognized university.
