EHS Manager - Chemical Manufacturing Firm

1. Implementation of EHS program for the plant based on Integrated Management Systems

2. Achieving Environment, Health and safety KPI of the plant to achieve the goal of Target Zero.

3. Compliance to all regulations related to the areas of Environment, health and safety.

4. Monitoring of environment management systems of the plant

5. Optimization of effluent treatment plant.

6. Create EHS awareness amongst employees and contract employees

7. Timely reporting of EHS incidents and track closure of action plan

9. Ensure fire protection of the plant and have systems in place to limit human/property damage during any emergencies.

- Conduct timely THA and track completion of open points

- Conduct incident investigations and ensure action plan in place.

- Conduct regular safety committee meetings and track the MOM

- Monitor functioning of ETP and ensure PCB discharge parameters are met.

- Prepare a legal compliance register and timely government submissions.

- Monitor hazardous waste generation in the plant, try to minimize hazardous waste and ensure it is legally disposed

- Conduct regular SBV of the plant along with plant HOD and ensure non compliances are addressed immediately.

- Ensure regular maintenance of firefighting/protection/detection systems, conduct regular drills and update Onsite emergency plan

- Ensure adequate and timely medical aid for the personnel in tandem with HR dept.

- Address EHS issues in design by Management of change process.

- Ensure lead in EHSMS audits

- Ensure EHS trainings compliance
