Eggoz - Head - Sales

Key Responsibilities include:

- Develop sales plans, strategies and policies with a view to increase/sustain market share and profitability.

- Drive top line growth and prepare innovative plans to achieve higher value realization.

- Assign targets to the team to drive primary and secondary target achievement

- Have effective implementation and monitoring mechanism to ensure achievement of the Sales plans and strategies.

- Strategically allocate sales effort and resources based on segment priorities ensuring alignment with the sales teams.

- Formulate policies and guidelines for smooth functioning and satisfaction of channel partners.

- Scan the environment to understand competitor's activities, demand supply scenario, regulatory issues to formulate strategies for increasing market share.

- Ensure an increased market share and profitability.

- Continuously monitor the pricing patterns within the market, check prices regularly with respect to their competitiveness and value as perceived by consumers.

- Recommend pricing from time to time on a need basis to ensure the products are sold with highest recoveries possible.

- Initiate market intelligence system to provide monthly information on market potential, competitors- activities, new product opportunities and other changes in the environment.

- Act as a resource in the areas of the sales planning and data interpretation

- Assist in the development of sales goals, training programs, incentive plan design and sales force alignment, among other strategic sales initiatives.

- Evolve policies for establishing a robust field force monitoring and people management, relationship management system.

- Maintain focus in a fast-paced and dynamic environment which includes managing the complexities of business relationships.

Candidate Skills:

- 10+ years of Sales experience in the FMCG Sector only

- Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing from a Tier 1 Institute

- Entrepreneurial, able to deal with ambiguity with a strong bias for action and ownership attitude

- Should have a growth hacking mindset

- Sound understanding of P&L drivers

- Outstanding leadership, analytical and negotiation skills

- Strategy development, Sales force management, Sales force expansion, and Sales Management, Information Systems

- Has exemplary understanding of on-ground implementation

- Understands impact of Sales on other Functions and works in a collaborative manner

- Outstanding communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal abilities

- Collaborative and highly resourceful
