The Equity Financing Group business is changing its measurement of success from top line revenue and client balances to net returns at both the Business and Client level. To meet that objective, the business needs to create the metrics, tools, and incentives to drive behavioural change.At the business level, optimization will mean driving return outcomes across the portfolio through targeting:

Swap vs. Cash

E4E vs. DVP/Tri-party

Secured v. Unsecured borrowing

E-C

Settlement Balances

At the Client level, transparency is needed to create precise metrics on revenue, balance sheet, RWAs, and costs. Changes will take the form of

Pricing differentiation to reflect net returns vs. gross spreads

Efficiency targets vs. notional balances targets

Total resourcing costs vs. net revenue opportunities

Candidate will be required to

- Initially spend time with the Client & Business Optimization teams to learn about the business and the key focus areas the business is currently concerned about

- Understand the Equity Financing group Business/ Systems involved / Product details.

- Support optimization efforts across US, Europe and Asia in conjunction with Client & Business Optimization teams

- Role will require an understanding of financial resource drivers within both the Cash Prime Brokerage and Synthetics businesses, strong analytical skills for managing and manipulating large datasets, and an eye for detail to ensure timely and accurate delivery of the tasks/projects performed

Skills:

0-3 years of experience; can look at 2015 BTech pass outs

Strong experience in VBA and SQL

Knowledge on Investment Banking Products and Capital Markets

Strong communication
