We at edWisor are seeking a Public Relations Manager (PR Manager) to nurture a strong industry network, increase awareness and develop an enviable corporate image by developing and executing effective communication and media relations programs. Responsibilities : - Develop a marketing communications plan including strategy, goals, budget and tactics - Coordinate all public relations activities - Direct social media team to engage audiences across traditional and new media - Create content and campaigns around industry events and conferences including award applications, speaking opportunities, and online conversations - Build relationships with thought leaders to grow industry awareness - Monitor, analyze and communicate PR results on a quarterly basis - Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships and advertising on an ongoing basis. - Build and manage key relationships with a wide range of local and national media contacts, including key reporters, editors, and industry analysts Requirements: - 3-5 years of proven working experience in public relations required - Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or a related discipline - Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills - Exceptional writing and editing skills - Solid experience with social media including blogs, Facebook, Twitter, etc. - Have a full understanding of media needs and media relationships Salary Offered : 6-10 LPA
