To oversee the myriad growth initiatives we are setting up a revenue/P&amp;L ownership function. We are looking to hire the first few of those. As a category lead : 1) You will own the P&amp;L and revenue targets of a well defined piece of business 2) You will be the go to guy for designing the strategy, planning and executing the growth path of the category 3) You will interact and influence all the key functions inside the company 4) You will influence the 'go to market', communication and demand creation strategies 5) You will own the new products, business segment launches 6) You will oversee the day-to-day operations of the business Ideal candidate : 1) Has 2-4 years of experience in P&amp;L ownership roles 2) Start-up experience is a plus 3) Tier 1 university graduate ( Engineering background will help) 4) Generalist backgrounds with diverse set of problems tackled will help 5) Very good to exceptional analytical skills, and a willingness to invest in data analytics necessary 6) Demonstrated experience in tackling abstract, strategic level problems will help 7) MBA from Tier1/2 colleges will help, is not a must 8) Critical soft skills of being able to influence cross-functionally, leadership abilities and ownership of the problems are necessary The role will report the Head, Revenue.
