Roles and Responsibilities

- Creating engaging content for the learning product Mindspark in Science

- Using research on pedagogy to build discerning questions and create interactive science content like games, enrichment modules, etc to help children learn with understanding

- Researching and understanding the Science of Learning by reading pedagogy related research work, analyzing EI's rich student response data, conducting student interviews and interacting with teachers to figure out how children think and learn

- Building notes that highlight misconceptions based on the data and insights, and providing tips to address the same. Think of creative ways to reduce and remove these misconceptions

- Reviewing content, focusing on - Quality of the question (concept tested, grade appropriateness, phrasing)

Technical correctness Strength of the distractors

Syntactical/semantic errors

- Researching on content acquisition/teaching methodologies

Through the reading of academic journals

Analysing data on questions

By interacting with external subject experts

By interacting with students and understanding how they think

- Publish papers in international education journals and presentations at TEDx type events

Education and Experience

Subject background in Maths/Science, at a Masters- level or above

0-3 years of experience in content creation/teaching role
