"Technical Project Manager"

Job Purpose :

- Recommend efficient and cost-effective solutions to meet business requirements

- Provide technical support and expertise to improve and maximize overall business outcomes across functions and teams

- Ensure that all process outcomes are in line with the organizations short term and long-term business goals

- Responsible to successfully plan and manage programs/projects end-to-end, along with coordinating with various functions/departments (internal and external) in the program/project

- Responsible to successfully execute programs/projects end-to-end and be able to coach teams on Agile adoption

Key Responsibilities :

- End to end ownership of complex and large-scale cross-functional initiatives, including project definition, project planning, road map planning, resource planning and project execution

- Estimate work efforts required to deliver projects and create a detailed plan for the team

- Monitor projects from initiation through delivery and partner with stakeholders to drive projects as per set plans

- Persistently and creatively removes obstacles that slow down or prevent programs from delivering against project objectives

- Reporting of key metrics for sprint execution, test execution, bugs, issues, risk, etc. to the leadership / project team

- Run scrum and sprint grooming

- Act as Agile coach in implementing Agile across various business lines

- Manage team members directly and provide guidance for improving their efficiency, act as mentor to motivate them to bring the best for themselves and organization

- Manage project budget and costs - internal and external, work with business to identify project ROI

- Transform projects from Waterfall or other model into Agile methodology, following defined SDLC

- Emphasize on automated reporting of projects/programs and create standard reporting templates

- Identify communication gaps, manage issue escalations, and resolve dependencies

- Prepare metrics based periodic reports and dashboards with support from the stakeholder functions for management review

- Ensure that controls are adequate to meet legal, regulatory, policy, standards, and security requirements (ISO, RBI, NHB, PCI etc.)

- Liaise with IT-Governance team for all internal and external audits

- Support Information Security Governance, Operations, Compliance Programs

- Connect with sources who help update on current industry trends and security challenges

- Supports the adoption of key engineering excellence practices, including Reflection, Learning, Code Review, Continuous Integration, Test Automation, Test Driven Development, Behavior Driven Development

- Ability to thrive in complex situations and jump at the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues to deliver projects

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Proficiency in time management, project management skills, exposure to internal and external audits

- Highly energetic and motivated individual, who can enjoy challenging environment and align to Change Management

- Self-starter and self-learner

Technical skills :

- Certifications such as CSM is mandatory

- Certifications such as CSPO, PMP, Prince2, ACP, SAFe are preferred

- At least 5 years of experience in implementing projects on Agile

- Hands-on experience on Atlassian applications like JIRA is mandatory

- Proficiency in managing web and mobile application

- Ability to coach teams through the software development life cycle using Agile, Scrum, and Lean practices

- Experience in product engineering/start-up company (preferred)

Qualifications :

- Work experience of 5+ years in Technical Program Management

- Overall 10+ years of experience in software development and handling operations for complex distributed systems

- At least 2-3 years of coding experience in Java/.Net/ABAP preferred

- Experience as a Tester or Business Analyst preferred
