This role is on the Fixed Income - Treasury desk and is a complete proprietary trading setup with no client business. Treasury has been one of the oldest business setup within Edelweiss, it's been around 15 years since its inception and is one of the large contributors to the organisation growth. This particular desk setup is approx 5 years old and is been steadily growing since then in terms of revenue, region and head count. The role would require end to end execution skills from ideation, trade execution & management etc Role requirement : - Ability to generate alpha using proprietary trading strategies. - Strong risk adjusted returns track record with ownership of the PnL. - Knowledge of G-Sec, OIS and IRF markets in India. - Aggressive and passionate towards trading. - Strong analytical skill set with sound knowledge of how INR fixed income market operates fundamentally. - Willingness to learn and to contribute to team meetings and sharing ideas after doing research with data. - Coordination with mid-office and other teams in context of the trade. - Ability to make probabilistic decisions during times of incomplete information.
