Primary responsibilities include :
- Following, analyzing, and summarizing important developments related to global economic conditions and central bank policies;
- Developing and maintaining quantitative models for forecasting macroeconomic data
- Researching methodology documents provided by government statistical agencies.
- The ideal candidate should have a Master's degree in economics with 2 to 8 years of experience in empirical/econometric modelling along with strong written and verbal communication skills. Some knowledge of statistical packages (like E-views) is preferred.
