Econometric Modeler

Brief Description:

This position is a key part of the Modeling Group to build rigorous models of consumer mortgage behavior, economic drivers, and servicer performance.

My client is hiring for 2 positions:

1. Econometrician ( 3- 5 Years of experience) : CTC up to 15L PA

2. Senior Econometrician ( 5- 7 Years of experience) : CTC up to 20LPA

Mandate:

- Prepare and contributed to a wide array of macroeconomic reports and build econometric models.

- Specialist in macroeconomics research.

- Economic research involves in-depth analysis of US as well as global macroeconomic issues, data mining and analysis, model work using econometric tools for projections and forecasting.

- Engaged in developing research ideas and working on new research proposals based on existing literature and decisions of policymakers, undertake new big projects for presentations and responding to adhoc economic queries.

- Continuing an excellent relationship with our clients and maintain regular interaction with them.

Macro Modeling: Develop and update macro-econometric models.

- Monitor, analyse and forecast key macroeconomic variables and trends

- Publish thematic macroeconomic research on current and long terms themes.

Well versed in managing large and complex databases and building econometric models using sophisticated tools like STATA, SPSS, etc.

Qualifications:

- Master’s or PhD in economics or finance with quantitative focus
