Job Title: Head eCommerce

This role requires a dynamic individual with a deep understanding of cutting-edge technologies and a proven track record in driving successful and technically advanced eCommerce businesses.

General Requirements:

- The role is distinctly Techno-commercial, situated in the dynamic eCommerce industry.

- A profound grasp of the latest technological advancements in eCommerce and a demonstrated ability to steer profitable eCommerce ventures.

- Aptitude for collaboration with executive leadership teams.

- Previous experience in notable IT corporations or start-ups, showcasing success in the eCommerce domain.

Key Purpose of the Job:

- Originate, blueprint, execute, and deliver milestones for the company's Digital Business.

- Formulate and execute eCommerce business plans, emphasizing technological innovation and sophistication.

- Lead strategic marketing campaigns, promotions, and pioneering lead generation initiatives.

- Rigorously monitor performance through data analytics, focusing on enhancing website traffic and optimizing product performances.

- Foster and sustain robust relationships with vendors and customers alike.

Educational Qualification / Experience Required:

- Engineering Graduate in any discipline and a full-time MBA is preferred.

- A rich background of 18 to 22 years in digital platforms.

- Proven leadership experience, particularly in motivating teams within the Technology & Commerce spectrum.

- Exceptional team management and people development skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategy:

- Develop and implement plans for our online business, both short-term and long-term.

- Ensure the effective execution of plans to drive continuous growth.

2. Technology:

- Stay updated on the latest technology trends in eCommerce space.

- Introduce new tech ideas to enhance the performance and innovation of our online store.

3. Analytics:

- Monitor and analyze website and online sales performance.

- Utilize data to make informed decisions, improve website functionality, and optimize product offerings.

- Implement demand forecasting, purchase plans, stocking plans, and cutting-edge sell-out strategies.

4. Business:

- Manage the P&L of the eCommerce business, contributing significantly to its growth and profitability.

- Collaborate extensively with cross-functional partners to manage the Digital Platform/e-Commerce business comprehensively, covering business planning, strategy development, promotional campaigns, online marketing, website design, customer service, web analytics, and web technologies.

Skills & Competency:

- Strong Techno-Commercial acumen.

- Exceptional Customer Engagement skills.

- Proven technical expertise in eCommerce operations.

- Adept at managing teams and nurturing talent.

- Leadership prowess to guide and inspire teams in both technology and commerce.

- Successful history of steering profitable eCommerce ventures.
