eClerx - Program Manager - Big Data Solution Architect

As an Architect you are responsible for providing technical leadership to small size / complexity / order - value projects. You are expected to have depth of knowledge of specified technological area, which includes knowledge of applicable processes, methodologies, standards, products and frameworks. You would be responsible for defining and documenting architecture, capturing and documenting non - functional (architectural) requirements, preparing estimates and defining technical solutions to proposals (RFPs). You should provide technical leadership to project team to perform design to deployment related activities, provide guidance, perform reviews, prevent and resolve technical issues.

- Development of proposals for implementation and design of scalable big data architecture

- Participation in customer's workshops and presentation of the proposed solution

- Design, implement, and deploy high-performance, custom applications at scale on Hadoop

- Define and develop network infrastructure solutions to enable partners and clients to scale NoSQL and relational database architecture for growing demands and traffic

- Define common business and development processes, platform and tools usage for data acquisition, storage, transformation, and analysis

- Develop roadmaps and implementation strategy around data science initiatives including recommendation engines, predictive modeling, and machine learning

- Review and audit of existing solution, design and system architecture

- Perform profiling, troubleshooting of existing solutions

- Create technical documentation

- Articulate pros and cons of various technologies and platforms

- Experience with Machine Learning and Advanced Analytics will be added advantage

Desired Skills:

- Experience with major big data technologies and frameworks including but not limited to Hadoop, MapReduce, Pig, Hive, HBase, Oozie, Mahout, Flume, ZooKeeper, MongoDB, Spark and Cassandra

- DB Understanding experience (Oracle, SQL Server & NO-SQL database).

- Hands on experience on OOP languages and data structure.

- Understanding of tools like Slack, Kibana, Grafana, pinpoint, zoomdata etc. will be an added advantage.

- Firm understanding of major programming/scripting languages like Java, Linux, PHP, Ruby, Python and/or R. Experience in working with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend and/or Pentaho will be an added plus.

- Should understand and have experience in data security and privacy for Hadoop environments. Ability to articulate pros & cons of - TO-BE- design/architecture decisions across a wide spectrum of factors

- Must have strong knowledge on Hadoop security components like Kerberos, SSL, and Encryption using TDE etc

- Should be able to benchmark systems, analyse system bottlenecks and propose solutions to eliminate them.

- Experience with Machine Learning and Advanced Analytics will be added advantage

Desired Candidate Profile:

- 12 to 15 years of technical experience

- Technical Skills: [Hands on exposure with R, Python, SQL, MS Excel]

- Hands-on expertise in R, Python. Practical work exposure of machine learning model development on R

- Statistical model development competencies inclusive of machine learning
