Client Lifecycle Lead - KYC/AML Role: Senior Client Lifecycle Practice Manager Designation: AVP/ VP Location: Pune / Mumbai Travel: 10-15% of the time; Mumbai-Pune-Bangalore; Singapore; London; US Role Description: We are looking for a Senior Practice Manager to lead our Client Lifecycle practice in India. In this role you will be reporting into the global head of Client Lifecycle practice based out of New York. You will be responsible for designing Client Lifecycle solutions, supporting product development initiatives, mentoring and guiding local Subject Matter Experts and Process Managers, supporting pre-sales initiatives including content development, and participating in Sales meetings as an SME/ practice manager. Your role will include the following: - Provide pre-sales support to the Sales team and sales operations to drive sales opportunities - Assist Sales in qualifying a customer/ opportunity, gathering customer requirements, designing a solution for the customer and factually and accurately presenting, demonstrating and answering all questions related to the products to the satisfaction of the customer - Assist sales calls remotely or face to face (travel may be required locally in India, or to Singapore, London and/ or US) in qualifying opportunities and delivering product demonstrations and presentations - Engage with prospects and clients to perform process assessments - understand technical and functional requirements needed to deliver business benefit of eClerx solutions - Act as a subject matter expert on company products and will serve to train, assist and support the Sales team - Work with the Professional Services / Consulting team to prepare them for the client engagement and implementation by sharing knowledge gained about the customer environment, systems and risk profile - Carry lessons learned from the industry and present these to the relevant operations and professional services teams to supply input for the strategic direction of their functions - Communicate with sales and product management regarding customer needs - Lead Proof of Concept engagements, working with the client, sales, operations and technical presales - Completing RFI/RFPs responses. Identifying client requirements and ensuring proactive communications with customers to ensure customer satisfaction - Participate in trade shows, seminars and other industry events when required - Keep up to date on product and industry knowledge - Ensure Industry knowledge and best practices are shared across the operations functions and converted into valuable inputs for our clients - Collaborate as needed with India Operations Management and Knowledge Management teams to deliver training to the operations team in understanding the domain, products and solutions - Coordinate hand over of information between the Sales and Operations teams for the creation Statements of Work - Step-in to guide operations and professional services teams on any delivery related issues - Report to the Global head of Client Lifecycle Practice and contribute to the efficiency of the team Qualification: The ideal candidate will have: - At least 5+ years of experience in KYC, AML and Financial Crime, Case Management and Transaction Monitoring; At least 10+ years of Investment Banking or Private Banking industry experience - MBA from tier 1 business schools in India - Detailed knowledge of global AML regulations (US, UK, Europe and Asia) - Experience with proposal/agreement development and solution design - Strong Communication/Presentation Skills including making sales presentations - Knowledge of Tax Operations, Reference Data and Regulatory support functions is desirable - Pre-Sales Experience is desirable - Ability to Influence Senior Stakeholders - Client-Facing Experience - Highly motivated, self-starter, able to thrive in fast moving, high energy environments - Client-focus, team player and highly organized - Willingness to roll-up the sleeves to support operations team with business issues and challenges - Must be willing to travel 15%+ of the time - Technical experience of developing presentation
