Job Description:  EarlySalary.com is a new age FinTech start-up in Pune. We are promising to create ripples in the way lending will happen in the country. We are in the process of building our proprietary credit scoring algorithm and this position sits at the heart of the company's operation.  We are looking for a Data Scientist who is inquisitive of and excited by data; who is always thinking of ways and algorithms to improve any task; somebody with strong technical background to be able to mine the data using SQL and strong analytic mindset to find relations and patterns in the data and somebody with an eye for the detail to catch the smallest trend in the data.  Responsibilities:  - Understand company's objective and how we will achieve it through analytics  - Understand basics of credit underwriting to develop scoring models  - Use SQL to write queries to accurately fetch data for analytics  - Create predictive models using various modeling techniques like Regression, Neural Network, Decision Trees etc in Python  - Create illustrative reports and charts to understand data better using Tableau or a similar tool  - Communicate and present finding to senior management timely and in a clear unambiguous way  - Perform marketing analysis to measure effectiveness of marketing campaigns and support the marketing team  Qualifications:  - Bachelor/ Master's degree in Computer, IT, Math, Statistics, Analytics  - Minimum 2 years- experience working in analytics (Waived in case of master's degree in Analytics field)  - Hands on experience writing SQL queries  - Hands on experience in creating models using Python (experience using R will be considered if the candidate is a quick learner)  - Need high attention to detail to make sure accuracy of the data and analysis  - Excellent communication skill to communicate finding with higher management
