About E2E:

The Company has a two-fold medium term strategy:

i. Build the appropriate commercial/operational/IT strategy and systems to support its strong business growth and pipeline, and

ii. Develop the Company into an attractive strategic asset for potential acquirers

- To achieve these objectives, the Company will need to complement its technical and business developments capabilities with outstanding capabilities in customer focus, operational excellence, MIS and finance.

- E2E aspires to become, not only a leading railway technical services organizations, but also one of the most ‘intelligently’ managed businesses.

Roles and Responsibilities of the Head of HR:

- The HR Head will need to develop the HR Blueprint for the company, build a peformance culture and a strong management team that can deliver competitive value in a highly demanding international market. e2E prides itself as being a grooming ground for young talent, the incumbent will need to strenghten this and scale the capability development thrust to other management levels

Key Responsibilities:

- Support communication of the firm’s vision to its employees and embed the company values and culture. Should be able to sustain a great working environment

- Develop HR plans and strategies to support the achievement of the overall firm’s business objectives.

- Function as an advisor to the executive/senior management of each business unit and build a strong cohesive leadership team. Guide departments on resource utilization

- A catalyst for cultural change that helps prepare the business for scaling up

- Ensure that the business is appropriated resourced and stem the outflow of talent

- Lead talent acquisition, career development, succession planning, retention, capability development and compensation & benefits.

- Establish a performance management process that is linked to business goals

- Be a mentor and coach to managers

Candidate Profile:

- 12 - 15 years of post-qualification work experience

- An MBA from a reputed institute with specialization in HR is preferred, though not essential

- Would prefer someone who has an understanding of HR environment both in a start-up and an established firm.

- Can hold his or her own with an experienced set of professionals

- Is able to related to and work well with people across levels

- Have experience in building a team size from 100 to 1000.

- Should be able to handle strategic as well as operational aspects of HR

- Expertise in Human Resource concepts, practices, procedures

- Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and develop others.

Strong personal attributes in a candidate as listed below would be deemed necessary:

- Strongly ambitious and confident.

- Strong organizational skills

- A problem solver

- Must display maturity in handling employee relationships

- Process oriented

- Good communication skills.

- Business Acumen.

- Ability to be discreet

Compensation:

At par with industry standards and would include performance based variable pay and/or employee stock options
