The Company has a two-fold medium term strategy:

i. Build the appropriate commercial/operational/IT strategy and systems to support its strong business growth and pipeline, and

ii. Develop the Company into an attractive strategic asset for potential acquirers

To achieve these objectives, the Company will need to complement its technical and business developments capabilities with outstanding capabilities in customer focus, operational excellence, MIS and finance.

E2E aspires to become, not only a leading railway technical services organizations, but also one of the most ‘intelligently’ managed businesses.

Roles and Responsibilities -

The role involves seizing new business opportunities and deepening relationships with existing clients to ensure that the organization leads competition and achieves its business acquisition goals. The overall focus is to build a long term quality pipeline for business in the domestic and international markets, leading a business development team

Key Responsibilities:

- Serve as a key member of the executive team that sets the company’s strategic direction.

- Spearhead business development initiatives that are consistent with the company’s overall strategy.

- Develop and deliver a strategic plan for business growth with new and existing clients

- Revenue generation and strategic partnerships development and management.

- Manage complex contract negotiations

- Be the driving force in the development of the work ethic, culture and values of the business development group.

- Prepare marketing plans, lead activities and budget for the same; manage costs

- Tender assessment for bidding and partnering in the bid process

- Ensure proposals are of high quality

- Participate in exhibitions and prepare for displays in stall etc.

- Set goals, monitor performance, develop capabilities, appraise and motivate the team

Candidate Profile

- 12 - 15 years of post-qualification experience in business development with atleast 3-5 years of marketing experience in railway service or project companies.

- An MBA would be a plus

- Sound technical knowledge with strong marketing and business development skills.

- Demonstrated the ability to scale up a business to significant organization size and revenues using ones equity, network and acumen

- Willing to work in a company which has a strong entrepreneurial ethos.

- Would prefer someone who has worked with global client accounts; has a strong network in UK, USA.

- The role could be based in Bangalore or Dubai; Would require 15 days of travel in a month

- Open to candidates of any nationality

Compensation:

At par with industry standards and would include performance based variable pay and/or employee stock options
