Job description : We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Area Sales Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate should have 15 to 20 years of experience in the FMCG industry, with a strong background in sales management. As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of first-line managers and driving sales growth in your designated area.

Responsibilities :

- Lead a team of first-line managers, providing guidance, coaching, and support to achieve sales targets and objectives.

- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to maximize market penetration, increase revenue, and achieve business growth.

- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to identify opportunities for sales growth and market expansion.

- Implement effective sales strategies, promotional campaigns, and pricing policies to gain a competitive edge in the market.

- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing initiatives to support sales efforts and strengthen brand presence.

- Monitor and evaluate sales performance, providing regular feedback to the team members and implementing corrective measures when necessary.

- Conduct regular market visits to build strong relationships with key customers, identify their needs, and ensure customer satisfaction.

- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retailers to enhance product availability and visibility in the market.

Requirements :

- 15 to 20 years of progressive experience in sales, preferably in the FMCG industry, with at least 5 years in a first-line management role.

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team towards achieving sales targets.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

- Handling of 6-7 SO, managing 2-3 Super stockiest & 30-40 distributors, Age Max 40 years, good communication skills, Only hardcore FMCG background
