Job Title : DVP/VP1 - Financial Reporting

Sub Function : Controllership - Financial Reporting

Reporting To : Head - Financial Control

Job Description :

- Implementation of IndAS / IFRS

- Preparation of Financial accounts on monthly, quarterly, annually under IndAS and existing local GAAP, as the case may be

- Preparation / updation / reviews of accounting policy of the Bank to ensure they are consistent with latest guidance issued by ICAI, RBI, SEBI, MCA

- System enhancements, BRDs, UATs, etc relating to CBS accounts, Trial Balance and other financial reporting to meet new accounting / regulatory pronouncements.

- Audit of Financial accounts / related reporting

- Documentation and periodic review of key processes and controls relating to Financial reporting

- Covering financial reporting aspects of all new products / system roll outs

- Working actively with other functional and business teams on accounting treatment of new transactions and operational arrangements especially under IndAS framework

- Reinforcing and embedding strong control framework around current processes.

Experience :

- 7 years or more of post-qualification experience, preferably in Banking.

- Working experience of IFRS / Ind AS in a financial services company (Bank / NBFC). Experience of implementing IFRS will be preferable.

- Good experience with Core Banking Solutions (CBS).

- Candidate should be conversant with old Accounting Standards issued by ICAI, IFRS converged Ind AS, RBI circulars relevant for financial reporting.

Qualification :

- Chartered Accountant with 7+ years of post-qualification experience

- Good Communication and interpersonal skills

- Good team leader and be able to manage and motivate team
