Brief on Debt Capital Market: - Perform initial credit appraisal to identify strengths and concerns of the proposals as well as identify mitigants and structures to enhance financing viability. - Liaising with Banks &amp; Financial Institutions. Develop new Banking/Investor Relationships. - Relationship Management with existing set of clients as well as investor based globally. - Developing new corporate relationships. - Understand investor criteria. - Ensure smooth execution of the proposals by directing the transactions towards the relevant credit desks at Banks/NBFCs/other Financial Institutions and smartly follow up to ensure deal closure. - Execute all strategies laid out by the management: towards business development, deal execution or any other initiatives. - Maintain &amp; submit basic review reports to the management to enable smoother functioning of the desk in line with management strategies, initiatives &amp; directives. Organizational Relationships: Reports to: Business Head Supervises: NIL Coordinates with: Team Travel: Within India &amp; Internationally. Criteria: - Essential: Graduate in Commerce/Economics/Business Management - Desired: PG / MBA in Finance/CFA/CA - 7-15 years of relevant work experience. - Good communication skills. - Pleasing personality. Product Suite Include: Refinancing, Mezzanine Finance, Acquisition Financing, Bonds, Sukuks, Bridge Loans Banking Skills: - Comprehensive knowledge about debt products and offshore loans. - Structuring capabilities to create Hold Co / Share Backed and other financing structures, compliant with all prevailing regulations. - Structuring capabilities to understand complex transactions - Basic ground work for working with banks on Convertible Bond issuance, FII compliant NCD issuances, Sukuk Bonds. - For Offshore clients, understand local regulatory, currency etc compliances and structure transactions. - Leverage feedback from market to work on creating newer scalable opportunities. - Work on Information Memorandum for syndication of transactions, fronted by Banks / Global Investment Banks. - Should have hands on knowledge on pre sanction procedures and post sanction formalities. - Should be able to independently present the credit to senior officials in Banks. Financial Skills: - Should be able analyze company financials and provide a details analysis. - Understand the business models to prepare a bankable proposal as per clients requirements. - Prepare financial models (Projections) as per banking guidelines. - Prepare detailed Synopsis, IMs, Teasers in order to present the proposal to bankers.
