Job Title: Associate Vice President and Deputy Vice President - Product Development

Overview:

As an Associate Vice President and Deputy Vice President in Product Development for Digital Lending focusing on Commercial Vehicle and Passenger Vehicle segments, you will be responsible for driving innovation and strategy in lending products tailored for these sectors within our Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC). This pivotal role requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of digital lending, vehicle financing, market trends, and regulatory frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Strategy and Development:

- Lead the development and execution of product strategies specific to Commercial Vehicle and Passenger Vehicle lending.

- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor offerings to identify opportunities for product differentiation and enhancement.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams including Risk Management, Marketing, and Technology to ensure alignment of product development with business objectives.

Lending Product Innovation:

- Drive innovation in lending products through the integration of digital technologies, data analytics, and automation.

- Identify opportunities to streamline loan origination, underwriting, and servicing processes to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.

- Collaborate with technology partners and fintech firms to leverage emerging solutions for product enhancement.

Regulatory Compliance:

- Stay abreast of regulatory changes impacting the lending industry, particularly in the Commercial Vehicle and Passenger Vehicle segments.

- Ensure compliance of lending products with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

- Work closely with Legal and Compliance teams to navigate regulatory challenges and ensure adherence to guidelines.

Risk Management:

- Partner with Risk Management to assess credit risk associated with lending products and implement appropriate risk mitigation strategies.

- Develop credit policies and underwriting guidelines specific to Commercial Vehicle and Passenger Vehicle financing.

- Monitor portfolio performance and identify early warning signals to proactively manage credit risk exposure.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

- Collaborate with Sales and Business Development teams to drive product adoption and achieve business growth targets.

- Provide training and support to frontline staff to ensure a deep understanding of lending products and processes.

- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the Product Development team.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
