Duunhumby - Specialist - Privacy & Data Governance Assurance

- We're looking for a talented Privacy & Data Governance Assurance Specialist who expects more from their career. It's a chance to support dh privacy and data compliance teams by carrying out assurance activities on key controls across the compliance framework. To help dh demonstrate accountability and industry best practice against local data protection laws across the globe and corporate policies.

- Joining our Legal team, you'll work with world class and passionate people to provide advice and support on a variety of legal and compliance-related matters, ensuring the interests and risks of the business are protected. You'll support a wide range of business areas, including Procurement, Information Security, Core Technology, Infrastructure and HR. Privacy is integral to everything we do, so you'll closely work with our core Privacy team to mitigate risk.

What we expect from you:

- Working in a legal Audit and Assurance role, with comprehensive knowledge of compliance activities specifically around control environments related to privacy and data compliance.

- Understanding how to obtain and present evidence to support controls that would be sufficient to satisfy audit and regulators.

- Excellent understanding of and keen interest in privacy laws & regulations and security compliance frameworks (GDPR, UKDPA, CCPA, NIST, ISO).

- Proven experience of successfully managing complex privacy assurance activities within a fast-paced environment and ensuring delivery of high-quality work on time.

- Analyse data gathered through assurance audits and present key information to the senior stakeholders, including risk officer for risk reports to the Exec and Tesco.

- Help identify new privacy controls and suggest strategies for implementing any potential compliance gaps found via assurance audits.

- Strong privacy background, knowledge and experience with auditing and assuring privacy or compliance

- 10+ years of experience with legal background in Privacy and security/compliance/risk management would be good to have for this role
