Position Name: Senior Consultant

Purpose of the role:

- Responsible for independently managing small project(s), leading key module(s) on large project(s) with guidance from Project Manager, supporting sales and business development and supporting relationship building with client(s).

Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities Of The Role:

- Leads projects (1-2) of low to medium complexity, delivering a profitable client experience while accounting for all internal financial metrics

- Leads key module(s) on large project(s) by detailing key aspects of the module(s) in alignment with the project storyboard, defining methodologies, detailing dependencies and assiging responsibilities.

- Demonstrates understanding of specific databases relevant for various industry sectors and business functions. Guides, reviews and gathers data and information on company, industry, market, and other business parameters using primary/ secondary research resources

- Guides, reviews and conducts research and analysis of business environment including policy & regulatory landscape, industry, market, competitors to derive appropriate insights & inferences.

- Guides, reviews and conducts Financial analysis of business through understanding & analysis of P&L statement, Balance Sheets and other business performance reports

- Independently conducts interviews with mid-to-senior level stakeholders (Govt. officials/ business leaders/ others) and analyses information solicited from interviews/ primary/secondary data sources and draws relevant insights

- Ensures the coordination of interviewing process when carried out by an external party or for any other data collection format

- Writing Reports/ sections of reports, making presentation slides and presentation of data analysis & findings to the client for the assigned modules/ sections/ project.

- Supports in conceptualization of new methodologies/ tools/ models/ data collection formats, to design a holistic solution for the client

- Supports in business development by preparing proposals, EOIs/ RFPs across the practice area

- Ensures as part of project delivery - quality deliverables are created, timely submission of deliverables, manages the client relationships in the capacity of a team member/project manager

- Identifies & articulates the impact of issues on project timelines & deliverables

- Supports in project administrative aspects like ensuring timely invoicing, collections, etc.

- Offers consistent, constructive feedback to improve team members' technical and functional skills and support their development

Knowledge & Skills:

Education Qualifications & Experience :

- Overall 5-7 years experience, relevant experience in government advisory, policy research, MSMEs, etc. (across sectors) will be preferred

- Post Graduate degree in Management

- Post Graduate degree in Economics/ Commerce would be preferred

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (mandatory)

- Excellent business analysis and presentation skills (mandatory)

- Adept in MS Excel and other MS Office tools (mandatory)
