Director, Human Resources SUMMARY : The Director, Human Resources will oversee the HR Business Partner team and Talent Acquisition function, serving as the team's key point of escalation. The HR Director is a critical senior leader, responsible for developing and defining strategy for the HR organization, executing this strategy according to plan, and for serving as a key resource for Senior leadership. The Director, Human Resources will also be responsible for supporting employees within assigned business units, as needed. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES: - Provide strategic HR guidance to key stakeholders across Duck Creek - Manage the performance, work distribution and development of the HR Business Partner team - Serve as a trusted advisor of Senior Leaders on all HR topics - Play a key role in defining and developing HR strategy alongside the CHRO - Responsible for executing against the strategy and any relevant metrics in the timeline provided - Work with business unit supervisors and HR team to manage employee performance, including advising on promotions, providing guidance on internal job movement, and supporting the delivery and execution of performance improvement plans as needed - Work with Total Rewards team to ensure compensation strategy is properly understood, communicated and executed upon within Business Partner team - Performs other related duties and activities as required.
