Head - Process Excellence and Audit

Role: Head - Process Excellence and Audit

Head Process Excellence and Audit shall study, design, document, audit, Investigate if any failure/RCA to any and all Operations processes (FM, MM and LM) Pan India. Ability of proper follow up, coordination, capability to highlight day to day deviation from operations processes at different locations/facilities. Understand the whether failure is in Design, Infrastructure (IT, Space, vehicle, etc) or People Inefficiency of carrying out the process. Responsible for driving continuous improvement and culture building in line with organization's vision & quality policy

Responsibilities:

- Understanding of operations and different software used in industry for First Mile, Middle Mile and Last Mile Operations

- End to end understanding and usage of different dashboard on Tableau, Alteryx

- Work closely with Operations (FM, MM LM), Branch and Hub regional ops team and Central Ops to ensure smooth delivery, pickup and middle mile operations on a day to day basis, operation control through process monitoring

- Ability to create process excellence documentation, flowchart, Presentations

- Revamped the existing internal audit process to bring in pro-activeness resulting process efficiency and compliance.

- Ability to take decisions whether processes are being performed correctly at all facilities or not across all locations

- Devise plan to Implement organization level initiatives using Quality tools such as Lean Six Sigma etc. to enhance warehouse level productivity

- Track, Audit and drive for continuous improvement across all process, decision making capability

- Drive quality management program through a QMS approach

- Establish and implement internal control disciplines throughout the business to maintain integrity and accuracy.

- To review the periodic data and process and follow ups for corrective actions, identify process that need intervention

- Provide key insights for business process improvement areas and drive productivity improvement through program and process management initiatives

- Develop solutions for complex initiatives by leading change management & risk mitigation for the business

- Analyze and anticipate cost trends to review & improve forecasts.

- Alert users on discrepancies & escalate recurring issues to management

- Deep dive into key areas to identify areas of improvement in the processes and analyze to arrive at actionable insights, identify improvement opportunities, Troubleshoot data with technical issues and ensure accountability for resolution

- Build a culture of ownership and empowerment within Team

- Develop, mentor and motivate the team for better efficiency and best results

- Skilled in Building and streamlining Processes

- Evaluate customer feedback, areas of improvements & providing critical inputs on improvements.

- Contribute to the development of project standards, policies, procedures, and methodologies for company

Skills Required/Competencies:

- People manager, he should be able to lead a team of 20+ members (both junior and people manager level)

- Exposure and Knowledge of Operations process, different software/dashboard and application used in our industry is must

- Worked on preparation of Guide/Play book

- Comprehensive and possessing analytical Skills

- Tech savvy, Problem solving, data-driven decision-making ability through the stakeholders

- Team Building and Employee Engagement Capability

- Adaptability towards change management

- Sound presentation/communication skills

- Strong analytical and problem solving skills

- Good proficiency in Spreadsheet (Excel) & other Office applications, internet applications and analytical softwares/ tools

- Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills (both verbal and written)

- Ability to work in team environment or independently as needed

Experience:

- Engineering background is a must. Background in Mechanical/ Production Engineering will be preferred

- MBA in Operations Research/ Supply Chain Management domain is preferred

- Knowledge of principles, methodology and practices of Research and Data Collection

- Background in use of Analytics in Business Decision Making, Process Improvement and Optimization

- 15+ years of work experience and served in the logistics and courier industry, Leader and have been core member of the Process excellence team in past
