Head Control Tower

Role: Head Control Tower

Head Control Tower shall control Pan India network all Operations KPI's and work for its improvement. Data gathering, analysis, monitoring, controlling entire Ops KPI from bottom to top. Ability to handle large data set, Follow up, coordination, capability to highlight day to day deviation from the KPI, deriving actionable insights and communicate for improvement. Involve in new initiatives undertaken by the organization.


- Understanding of operations and different software used in industry for First Mile, Middle Mile and Last Mile Operations

- End to end understanding and usage of different dashboard on Tableau, Alteryx

- Drive critical projects, Coordinating with cross-functional (all functions in organization) across locations and hierarchy

- Handling large transaction data, Gathering data from different systems/Portal/Software

- Work closely with Operations (FM, MM LM), Branch and Hub regional ops team and Central Ops to ensure smooth delivery, pickup and middle mile operations on a day to day basis, operation control through process monitoring

- Track and drive for continuous improvement across all defined Goals/KPI/metrics

- Periodic and on time publication of performance data visibility

- Follow ups for corrective actions, identify shipments that need intervention

- Alert users on discrepancies & escalate recurring issues to management

- Deep dive into key areas to identify areas of improvement and analyze data to arrive at actionable insights, identify improvement opportunities, Troubleshoot data with technical issues and ensure accountability for resolution

- Build a culture of ownership and empowerment within Team

- Develop, mentor and motivate the team for better efficiency and best results

Skills Required/Competencies:

- People manager, he should be able to lead a team of 20+ members (both junior and people manager level)

- Exposure and Knowledge of Operations process, different software/dashboard and application used in our industry is must

- Comprehensive and possessing analytical Skills

- Tech savvy, Problem solving, data-driven decision-making ability through the stakeholders

- Team Building and Employee Engagement Capability

- Adaptability towards change management

- Sound presentation/communication skills

- Strong analytical and problem solving skills

- Good proficiency in Spreadsheet (Excel) & other Office applications, internet applications and analytical softwares/ tools like SPSS/ SAS etc. Should be comfortable with working on huge data

- Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills (both verbal and written)

- Ability to work in team environment or independently as needed


- Engineering background is a must. Background in Mechanical/ Production Engineering will be preferred

- MBA in Operations Research/ Supply Chain Management domain is preferred

- Knowledge of principles, methodology and practices of Research and Data Collection

- Background in use of Analytics in Business Decision Making, Process Improvement and Optimization

- Experience in excel based modeling and use of statistical tools

- 15+ years of work experience and served in the logistics and courier industry


- Location and traveling as per requirements
