Position Title: Sales Manager West
Location: Mumbai
Qualification: (Bachelor in Science,B.Pharma) and MBA in Marketing
Experience:
- 6-8 years of experience in API or Bulk raw material sales.
- Experience in managing key customer accounts
- Experienced in managing network of agents and distributors.
- Experience in commercial business terms and govt rules and regulations.
- Excellent people management skills.
Key Skills/Competencies:
- Selling of APIs or bulk raw materials, Understanding of the product and its usage
- Management of handling Key customer Accounts.
- Handling networking of agents and distributors.
- Negotiation Skills, Business Management Skills, people management skills and consumer behavior understanding
- Understanding of the local business environment, government policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of commercial business terms and procedures.
- In depth understanding of the business value chain.
Key Areas of Accountability / Responsibility
- Plan and execute marketing strategy in line with the company’s business targets for the region.
- Sustain and grow the business in the region in terms of volume, value and market share.
- To achieve sales and collection targets on monthly basis and to control credit exposure.
- Ensure quality service to customers to achieve customer satisfaction and delight.
- To coach associate staff members on market conditions / requirement, so that they understand customer needs and service in the best possible manner.
- To effectively plan and forecast sales for the region.
- To collect and update market intelligence for the India region.
- To effectively manage network of distributors and agents in the region.
