JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Title: Cash Manager

Location: Gurgaon

Qualification: Chartered Accountant

Experience: Min 2 years pos qualification

Key Skills/Competencies:

- Understanding P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flows, Operating Working Capital

- Budgeting, Good Analytical skills & Forecasting

- Audit Experience

- Knowledge of Funds management, Treasury, banking and FP&A.

Key Areas of Accountability / Responsibility

- Effective funds management including improved cash planning and reporting

- Cash flow forecast and variance analysis.

- Annual Fund planning/forecast

- Analysis of Forex gain/loss monthly in details.

- Reporting on Treasury outflow, Bank charges, financing cost and hedging cost.

- Any new product implementation for cash management improvement

- ensuring that the controls framed on payment processes are followed (control over cheque payments and foreign remittances).

- To ensure that the banker’s grievances are managed on time to ensure timely payments

- To ensure that the entries in the system (FEBA) is done online basis and in no case later than 1st working day by resolving inter/intra departmental issues.

- LCs opening on time as per SOP and also docs release from bank as per SOP.

- Ensuring proper preparation of Bid Bonds, Performance bonds and Bank Guarantees on timely basis.

- Ensuring timely Foreign payments through interaction with banks once queries are resolved by AP team

- Ensure corporate treasury guidelines to be followed. Participate / Execute tax compliance self-assessment, Monthly ECB returns filing on time, timely payment of all direct & indirect taxes, RBI guidelines changes compliance on Hedging requirements to be ensured 100%,

- Timely Authorized Signatories update in all banks, Handle Treasury related Statutory Audit.

- Ensuring FEMA compliances and internal control guidelines

- Drive BOE submission through interaction with AP team

- Complete analysis of bank charges on monthly basis keeping in mind the agreed charge sheet with bankers. And to ensure that bank charges do not exceed the ASR level

- Regular & timely payment runs on requirement basis without fail and only after ensuring the funds availability in our bank accounts

- Follow up/ interaction with banks to ensure our SLA is met and if necessary, escalation to the treasury manager

- Ensuring that bank charges are as per the agreement with banks and analysis is done on monthly basis

- Ensure updation of FEMA changes to the FICO team members to ensure we are FEMA compliant

- Ensure proper accounting and interest chargeability within group companies for cash pooling with DSM entities in India

- Ensure proper interest rates and bank balances are considered by banks on company surplus balances for Fluctuation Deposits

- Handling statutory/ internal audits relating to treasury/cash
