The ideal candidate will have 8-12 years of experience in category management and merchandising in the e-commerce industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Category Strategy:

- Develop and execute the overall category strategy aligned with business goals.

- Identify opportunities for category expansion and growth.

- Merchandising and Site Optimization:

- Lead site merchandising efforts to enhance user experience and boost conversions.

- Implement strategies to optimize the presentation of products within categories.

- Category Launch:

- Oversee the successful launch of new categories on the platform.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless integration.

- User Persona and Journey:

- Understand user personas and customer journeys to tailor category offerings.

- Implement strategies to enhance the overall customer experience.

- Communication and Content:

- Develop and implement effective communication strategies for category promotions.

- Work closely with content teams to ensure compelling and relevant category content.

- Conversion Boosters:

- Identify and implement conversion boosters for each category.

- Analyze performance metrics and make data-driven decisions for improvement.

- Category Hole Analysis:

- Conduct thorough category hole analysis to identify gaps and opportunities.

- Implement strategies to address category gaps and improve overall assortment.

- Team Leadership:

- Build and lead a high-performing category management team.

- Provide guidance, coaching, and professional development opportunities.
