Drillcon Infrastructure - Project Manager - Civil - Rail Tunnel

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager - Civil to lead our team in managing the construction of rail tunnels as part of the Haryana Orbital Rail Corridor (HORC) project in Sohna, Gurgaon. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of the tunnel construction process, ensuring adherence to project specifications, timelines, and budgetary constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage all phases of the tunnel construction project, from planning and design to execution and completion.

- Coordinate with engineering teams, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project progression.

- Develop and implement project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.

- Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing any deviations or issues that may arise.

- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and quality standards throughout the construction process.

- Prepare regular progress reports and communicate updates to project stakeholders.

- Lead and motivate project team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

- Resolve any conflicts or disputes that may arise during the course of the project.

- Conduct regular site inspections and assessments to ensure adherence to project specifications and standards.

- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering (BE/BTech in Civil).

- A minimum of 15 years of experience in civil engineering, with at least 5 years of experience as in charge in tunnel projects related to railways/DFC/Metro/RRTS/Highway/Expressways.

- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale civil construction projects - particularly in tunnel construction.

- In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and equipment used in tunneling projects.

- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate and motivate project teams.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to effectively interact with a diverse range of stakeholders.

- Proficiency in project management software and tools.

- Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and standards.
