Drillcon Infrastructure - Health & Safety Expert - Tunnel Project

Job Summary:

We seek a highly motivated and experienced Health and Safety Expert to join our team for acritical railway tunnel project in India. You will play a key role in developing and implementing comprehensive health and safety strategies to ensure the well-being of all personnel involved in the project while optimizing productivity and meeting project deadlines.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement a robust Health and Safety Management System (HSMS) in accordance with Indian Regulations, Railway Board Safety Guidelines, and international best practices.

- Conduct risk assessments and hazard identifications, implementing effective control measures to mitigate risks.

- Develop and deliver safety training programs for all project personnel, covering topics such as safe work practices, emergency procedures, personal protective equipment (PPE) use, and hazard awareness.

- Monitor and audit adherence to safety regulations and procedures, addressing non-conformities promptly and effectively.

- Conduct workplace inspections, identifying and reporting unsafe conditions and practices.

- Investigate incidents and accidents, analyzing root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

- Liaise with project stakeholders, including regulators, contractors, and workers' representatives, on all health and safety matters.

- Maintain comprehensive safety documentation and reports.

- Stay updated on the latest health and safety regulations and best practices in the tunnel construction and railway industry.
