Context of the Role

Anchor the talent management process with an integrated view of internal talent identification, assessment of identified talent and succession planning by collaborating with the Business Leaders and HR teams.

Responsibilities

1. Talent Identification and Assessment

- Anchor end-to-end talent reviews with the Talent Management Board

- Note individual development plans for each critical resource

- Track the progress of development and follow through with leadership team to bring in necessary closure as per the plan

2. Talent Analysis

- Implement talent management and succession planning metrics

- Consolidate and analyze the data and convert into actionable follow-up for each business leader

- Conduct discussions of talent analysis with business leaders and HR teams

- Partner with L&D to prepare and deploy appropriate developmental programs

3. Succession Planning

- Based on the talent analysis and assessment, identify critical roles and map the existing talent against these roles

- Partnering with business HR and leadership team to continuously revisit readiness with the slate of candidates available for critical roles

- Work with business leaders to frame the development plan and execute the same for the identified talent in order to take the next level roles

4. Process Improvement

- Develop and upgrade talent management and succession planning processes and standards

- Enable the business Talent SPOCs to partner with the senior leaders in order to deploy talent management process

- Provide content expertise to upgrade the HR IT systems

- Simplify the toolkit i.e. IDP templates, talent assessment forms etc. to make it user-friendly and impactful

Operating Network:

Internal: HR Leadership Team, Corporate HR Team, and Business Leaders

External: Vendors & Institutions

Technical Requirements :

Good understanding of business and knowledge of talent management practices and HR processes.

Educational & Experience :

MBA HR with good academic credentials

6-9 years of work experience in HR

Key Personal Attributes:

- Strong communicator, highly energetic with ability to influence & persuade others

- Proven consultative approach and project management skills

- Excellent interpersonal skills - High level of proficiency in networking & connecting internally and externally

- Ability to work closely with business leaders by understanding their needs and designing and rolling out HR solutions
