Dr Reddys - Manager - Capex Evaluation & Fixed Asset Management

Role: Manager Capex Evaluation & FAM

Role Band: R2A

Reporting To: Head Capex & FAM

Location: GMO-HO Hyderabad

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct financial and operational review of all capex proposals

- Discuss with all stake holders and understand the project proposal

- Evaluation of build-up of project cost of capex proposals

- Validation of the project cost

- Benchmarking of project cost (internal & external)

- To present financial evaluation of all major capex proposals in CRM for discussion and approval

- Evaluation of the business case for the capex proposals

- Compute pay-back / NPV and perform sensitivity analysis

- Prepare project notes for capex proposals

- Co-ordinate and ensure projects are approved as per DOA

- Create project code and upload budget as per approvals

- Weekly tracking of the proposals and update status

- MIS and analytics on the capex spend- Plan vs actual, trends etc.

Operating Network

Internal: Project Team, ESD Team, Capex indentors, development team, Capacity Team, SCM, IT, Plant Heads, Mfg Heads, Finance Heads

External: Execution agencies, Vendors

Technical Requirements: Very good understanding of manufacturing & construction process, equipment's and their costs

Educational Qualifications: MBA finance with technical qualification(preferable) or CA/ICWA with relevant experience

Experience Required: 4-6 years of experience with at least 1-2 years of exposure to capital projects
