Lead: Digital Strategy and Project Management
Location: Banjara Hills - CORP, Hyderabad
Band: Indigo (I2)
Role Responsibilities:
You will lead efforts to both set the direction and standards for projects/programs. You will also play a significant role in developing the long-term Digital Strategy, Agile Transformation and Strategy Roadmaps.
Digital Strategy and Operating Model
- Co-create Digital strategic priorities in alignment with business and build consensus around that through effective communication
- Anchor cross-functional innovation process to generate and commercialize disruptive ideas for growth and productivity increase
- Set up and drive a start-up ecosystem to bring in the speed, agility, and cutting-edge innovation within the organization
- Participate actively in the activities of all IT Governance and IT strategy focus areas: Value Delivery, Performance Management, Risk Management, IT Planning, Project Management, Enterprise Architecture and Business Continuity
Agile Transformation:
- Lead Agile Transformation across the organization and enable teams for agile transformation across all aspects of demand, delivery and change management
- Implement and drive effective agile governance system
- Lead the creation of Agile COE for sharing best practices in agile with the team
CIO's office:
- Facilitate board level reviews, as part of the CIO office
- Work on building awareness of digital practices across the organization
- Work on building relationship with start-up ecosystem
- Create the communication framework of initiatives across the organization
- Lead and deliver communication deliverables like newsletters, success stories etc.
PMO:
- Drive the pan PMO process to ensure effective governance of 100+ projects that run across business units
- Define and track metrics for creating early warning indicators for proactive interventions
- Drive high adoption of best-in-class project delivery methodologies including agile, design thinking, change management, business alignment and value realization
- Anchor across lines to ensure closure on agreed action items
- Participate in the budgeting process and track actuals vs. budget highlighting exceptions
- Define and maintain the Performance Management Framework for IT processes, roles, and functions - Ensure KPIs drive continuous improvement and a learning mindset
- Project manage all initiatives from CIO office including the Innovation governance
Measures of Success :
- Strong execution on Digital strategy and transformation programs including innovation process as well as start-up ecosystem
- Better quality of project outcomes, in terms of timeliness of delivery, meeting success criteria and adoption and benefit realization
Operating Network :
Internal: All functions and teams within the digital and process excellence organization across India and overseas locations
External: Vendors, implementation partners, start-ups, knowledge networks in the industry
Key Skills and Experience:
- Strong problem-solving skills, transformation / consultative mind-set with high level of customer centricity
- Strategic thinking, innovation, strategy development and execution, planning and decision-making in a in a complex organization.
- Good understanding of IT industry standards and best practices to develop organizational capability assessment (people, processes, technology, knowledge) and process improvement models
- Ability to Communicate and inspire confidence at a senior level with technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience in the identification, evaluation and documentation of process flows, risks, and controls
- Experience in delivering transformational change in Technology organizations
- Educational Qualifications: MBA from top tier institutes
Experience Required: 7+ Years of experience in Consulting and/or Agile and/or General Management. Experience and Certifications in Agile will be helpful.
