Job Description :

- The Business Process Analyst will be responsible for developing business process models to represent current processes and possible improvements. He/she will be responsible for presenting technology options to realize these improvements.

- He/she will be a change agent in bringing to effect these improvements in the relevant functional and will act as a liaison between project stakeholders, department leads and external client/vendors in implementing the change

Building process Proficiency :

- Analyze the business unit's activities and document current processes. Develop key metrics to measure the business and improve operating processes. Investigate and identify process performance drivers and root causes of process inefficiencies; correct or develop new processes, as appropriate in order to achieve improved performance.

- Systematically break down complex issues into manageable parts. Present findings and work with the Business Unit Leader and other key stakeholders to frame tactical and strategic goals.

Business Analysis :

- Assists BU Leaders in developing tactical and strategic product, services and/ or programs to support the business unit's goals (financial, quality, production, customer service, operational efficiency, market share, etc.).

- Work closely with business partners to identify and maximize opportunities to use information and technology to improve product, service and/or program business processes.

- Review, analyze, and create detailed documentation of business systems and user needs, including workflow, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs. Translate business requirements into appropriate technical specifications.

Leverage IT to enable business :

- Recommend technology solutions to improve business processes. Develop, define, and build business cases for process/ technology change. Support leadership in key decisions such as build vs. buy and selection of off-the-shelf technology solutions. Understand critical business and information technology risks.

- Balance technology and business issues as well as communicate appropriately with both technology and business experts.

- Develop use cases and other technical documents with IT project staff to ensure business requirements are adequately reflected in technical planning documents. Ensure that all tests are conducted and documented according the standards agreed upon by the business unit and IT.

Project Management :

- Work closely with the project management team to understand upcoming project concepts, objectives and approach. Take business process improvement projects from the conceptualization phase to the final implementation.

- Proactively lead the development and integration of formal project management techniques and software development methodologies to provide a consistent methodology for managing complex and/or multiple strategic projects.

Manage and monitor projects and report progress and issues.

Change Management :

- Develop communication and change management plans as they relate to process improvement. Act as change agent to instill continuous improvement culture and project management discipline. Build knowledge repository of best business practices, KPI- s, and project management tools and procedures
