Role: Business Analyst - Analytics
Reporting To: Senior Director - IT & BPE, Analytics
Location: Corporate Office, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad
Context
Analytics initiatives in Dr. Reddy's are spread across Business units and functions. The objective is for the business analyst to understand the business requirements, identify how analytical tools and methods can address that business need and play the role of key liaison between the IT-BPE team/partners in development team and business team for internal project developments. This should help map client business requirements and establish customer satisfaction criteria for project success.

Key Responsibilities
- Participate in business user requirements & understand the key operational & data challenges of client's organization.
- Reviews and prepare requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solution.
- Develops functional specifications and system design specifications for client engagements.
- Oversee development of solution prototype
- Ensures issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a pro-active manner.
- Communicates needed changes to development team
- Develop in-house analytics knowledge-base
Operating Network
Internal: All functions and teams within the organization across India and overseas locations
External: Vendors, implementation partners, knowledge networks
Technical Requirements:
- Must have basic exposure to enterprise applications (like SAP), technology inclination
- Good understanding of business processes in atleast one of the functions like SCM, Sales & Marketing, Finance processes etc.
- Exposure to visual analytics (Tableau, Spotfire etc.), advanced analytics solutions (R, SAS etc.) and data mining/analytics techniques a big plus
- Exhibits confidence and an extensive knowledge of emerging industry practices when solving business problems.
- Knowledge in Project management background and familiar with PMI project methodologies and SDLC.
Educational Qualifications: B.Tech/M.Sc. An MBA degree would be preferred
Experience Required: Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in a reputed medium to large-scale manufacturing organization (preferably in Pharmaceuticals industry) or in a consulting firm. Prior experience in manufacturing operations would be ideal.
