Position Description

Job Summary:

- The Sourcing Lead is directly responsible for timely delivery of materials and services.

- Need to drive process transformation, change management and technology initiatives enabling the team clear visibility and efficient use of the financial data to drive breakthrough performance in efficient and cost savings ways.

- Should have a deep understanding of procurement operations/ business challenges and the ability to translate them into achievable solutions.

- Need to develop and implement clear performance measurement solutions.

- Should manage and direct the team, in the selection, implementation, and support of operational excellence initiatives.

- This role will work closely with Senior Procurement & Domain Leadership to establish priorities within acceptable timelines

Academic Background and Experience

- Should be Engineering Graduate in any discipline.

- At least 7-8 years of experience in Procurement.

- PG diploma in Materials Management will be preferred.

- Experience with SAP and e-procurement systems.

Job responsibilities:

- Procurement Planning.

- Procurement of all Direct & Indirect materials & Services.

- Vendor Management.

- Sox / Internal Audit Compliance.

- Team Management & Development.

- Work with other members of the Operations Leadership team to develop and implement P2P initiatives to optimize transactions, consolidate volume and create efficiency.

- Implement leadership reports, provide tracking on key departmental KPI's.

- Remain updated with market trends through relationships with suppliers and market experts

- Collaborate effectively across different organizational levels, functions & businesses to realize procurement goals and objectives.
