Job Role - Associate Director and Lead, Program Management

Business Unit - Biologics in Dr. Reddy's Laboratories

Location - Hyderabad

Purpose :

Biologics Development Center at Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd. Is looking to hire a Lead for their Program Management function. The primary responsibility of the Program Management lead will be to drive the execution of the biosimilar development programs for Biologics working with program managers and program teams. This role will be accountable to ensure that critical program decisions are being made in a timely manner and issues and risks are being addressed effectively in order to meet program objectives. The Program Management Lead will also be reporting to and working closely with the Program Management Head to develop the program management maturity roadmap and guide the development and future growth of the program management function in alignment with overall business strategy and vision.

Education & Experience :

- MBA/ Post graduate degree from a premier institution with a minimum 10-15 years of experience of which a significant portion should have been in pharmaceutical/ biotech Program or Project Management function or a closely related area.

- Experience in overseeing the management of a portfolio of programs and projects and monitoring multi-program execution through direct guidance and management of program/ project managers

- Strong background in fundamentals of Portfolio, Program and Project Management methodologies. Previous experience in developing and implementing program and project management processes and systems is required.

- PMP, Six Sigma or other related certifications preferred.

Responsibilities :

- Align the delivery and execution of programs/ projects working with governance teams, program managers and program teams. Recommend and ensure course correction and adjustments to programs which are missing targets.

- Develop and establish the tools and infrastructure necessary for program managers to execute their jobs successfully. Provide direction, coaching, and support to program managers and assist the program managers, when necessary, in program execution

- Organize and lead program reviews with senior management. Disseminate periodic program status reports and metrics to senior management and other stakeholders to provide visibility into program status, issues, risks, and costs.

- Ensure program managers and teams are adhering to program management policies and procedures

- Be directly involved in the hiring and performance management of program managers within the organization.

- Support the Program Management Head in the continual growth of program management maturity by developing and executing the Program Management Office roadmap in line with organizational objectives.
